I know many people may believe that Skyler and I are too young to be thinking of getting married. I don't tell them they are wrong. But I also never tell them they are right. Because, no one, even myself, know if we are too young. Anyone should get married at whatever age. I think it's ridiculous that there's a stigma to when someone should get married.  I know that I love him, and that ever since the first day I met him I knew he was something special to me. It was something that just hit me. I always thought that people were exaggerating when they said you would know when "the one" comes into your life. But it's true, you just know. I am one of those people where I was so impervious to love and anything that could potentially make me vulnerable  I had been hurt, not by boyfriends or ex lovers, but by people who I thought would never hurt me. It's something I'm not going to explain further but just know that I was cold hearted and for years basically emotionless. I hated crying (and still do) but when I met Skyler, something about him made me want to talk to him about things I have kept secret from everyone and to be honest, not just with him but also with myself.
If you are looking for "the one" you may never come across the actual right person for you. You have to let fate take it's course. If you do what you love, and let life go on it's own you will come across that person. Also don't be afraid to date! Dating doesn't mean sealing the deal. It means getting to know someone, maybe they will become your best friend and that person you consider family. Maybe they are the one. But don't be hard on yourself if it hasn't happened yet, because it will.

My everyday routine really isn't crazy with expensive scrubbers and high end face washes. My three go to things are:
1) Alba Botanica face scrub
I only use the face scrub twice a week (at least 2 days in between uses) I use this to help get dead skin, dirt, make up, etc off. It leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed.
2) Avalon Organics
I use my face wash 2x a day. Once in the morning and again at night. I only use this face wash because my skin is very sensitive and very picky and so far this is one of the few that doesn't irritate my skin or make it break out. It has vitamin C in it. Also it helps defend against photo-aging.
3) Apple-cider vinegar in water

I use this once a day (sometimes 2x because of the weather in Arizona can be harsh) I take apple-cider vinegar and fill the little blue container about 1/3 and then the rest water to dilute it. This helps the pH in the skin. After about a week of using this daily I have noticed such a difference in my skin. I still get blemishes here and there but my skin looks brighter. 

I only use organic face products because to me using products that have tons of chemicals makes me think that aging and other skin issues are tied together. I'm not stating that as a proven fact but that's my philosophy. Also I only use products that are cruelty-free. 

All of these products I got at Walmart (except the apple-cider vinegar) So if you're looking for a more reasonable price for skin care check out these at walmart or target or wherever you shop. I hope that this post helps!
  

Tarte eyeliner review

This is definitely by far one of the best eyeliners I have used. It's a liquid liner which gives very detailed lines. It has a defining color and applies easily. Though I do suggest to those of you who haven't used liquid liner before use a pencil liner, try it, become confident and try liquid liner. This eyeliner is from the company Tarte. They are a bit more pricey make up company but their products are cruelty free, high quality and they do not put harsh ingredients in their products. This is an eyeliner that you will not be let down on.

I love fall. I love love love it! It makes me think of hot chocolate, lattes, pumpkin carving and bonfires. It makes me feel nostalgic and warm. For me it brings me back to the happiest times in my life. Also, Halloween :)

I'm quite the impatient person so waiting until October to enjoy these things is never on the agenda. I love being able to find anything fall related when I can. So far I have enjoyed three pumpkin things: pumpkin ale, pumpkin pie and this lovely pumpkin candle. I got this candle from my dad. It's Pumpkin Cupcake by Bath and Body works. It smells amazing! Let me make myself clear, it. smells. AMAZING. The description on the back states: Satisfy your sweet tooth with the scent of a freshly baked pumpkin cupcake covered in loads of rich buttercream frosting. If that doesn't make your mouth water, then I don't know what to tell you. It smells like lovely fall baking. I can't really say a lot about it because you have to go smell it. If I could I would put a scratch and sniff on this post but it's not possible. I would love to know what your favorite fall time thing is!

Alba Botanica face scrub

Hey everyone! So today I want to do a small review on Alba Botanica face scrub. First off I want to tell you that they are a cruelty free product. Do you know that you shouldn't exfoliate your face everyday? I'm not a dermatologist but I've talked to many people who have gone through beauty school and they were taught not to exfoliate everyday. 2-3 times a week is good enough (unless otherwise told by a dermatologist). So when you first open it, it looks brown and has a minty smell to it. As you can see in the bottom picture. So it makes me think of mint chocolate, (yum!) I personally have very sensitive skin. So when applying this to my face I have to rub lightly. It has a small amount of "acne grade medication" in it. But after rinsing off my face feels amazing! It feels clean and soft and the minty smell is a good wake up fragrance. All in all, I give this product a thumbs up.

Julep Maven August 2013 unboxing

Yes it's that time again, the monthly Julep Maven box! Can you guess what's so special about this months box? It's Juleps 2 year anniversary. So let's jump right on it to it shall we?

So this is it. By the way, my box is Boho Glam. Inside there is a little bag of Forget-Me-Not seeds (in honor of their 2 year) a small quote, a foot treatment and friction stick, and lastly two nail polishes. 

Honestly when I took this out of the package it looked like a giant lip stick for your feet. But it obviously isn't, what it is though is a moisturizer for your tootsies and it helps prevent friction and blisters from forming. It also helps with circulation which a definite added plus. 

Of course the favorite of the box! I got Lios (top) and Frances (bottom). To me when I look at them they make me think of not pastely garden color but a great fall garden color. I think the colors are fabulous and I can't wait to try them it bring in the new season. 

Physicians Formula concealer

Hey guys! So I wanted to talk about this fabulous little guy. This is Physicians Formula concealer in light. This stuff is so amazing! It has great coverage and blends very well. I think the color is a slight shade too light for my skin but it was too light or too dark. I think the only down fall of this is that when I was at Walgreens looking at their selection they didn't have much in color variety. There is a perk to all Physicians Formula products, they are cruelty free! How amazing is that? It's a definite buy again product.
